This is where we tend to fall short. We either consistently swing for the fences and hope we're hitting something, or we insist on playing small and create a number of goals that don't actually help us achieve our objectives.
When we exclusively focus on 3 feet in front of us, we're not giving ourselves the space or capacity to see how our plays are impacting us in the bigger picture.
Alternatively, if we're focusing on the big picture, the 100,000 ft view, we're not giving ourselves the adequate capacity to track, measure or quantify whether or not our efforts are working.
How? Because at the end of the day our big picture goals, those 16ft dominoes we want to knock over are the sum of all the little 1ft dominoes we're setting in play.
